Spike’s Shelter Dogs

Seems that when the two were dropped off at the shelter three weeks ago, there were signs that the two had not been cared for very well. Spike has a number of sores and scabs on his legs and his back. He is also sooooo skinny, the sores may be because he has been sleeping on a concrete floor for the last three weeks. He also has a number of scabs on the top of his head. One of the shelter staff said that it looks like someone has used the top of his head as an ashtray. Staff recognize that Spike and his sister have probably not had any interest because of the way they look. 

Spike is a small pit mix, he is VERY friendly and sweet. I know that if somone could take him in for just a little while, with some good food, some care for his sores, and a lot of love, that he would be adopted very soon. PLEASE Monday is sooooo close.
